Nicholas Kent Aeverman, 20,is charged with 16 counts of first-degree sexual conduct for the alleged repeated sexual abuse of three children.

Tickets for Tuesday’s rock concert at Bayfront Festival Park listed a 7 p.m. start. But a city-imposed curfew meant a 6:30 start, angry promoters and disgruntled fans.

Duluth mayor pulls proposal to charge for police and fire calls

Mayor Don Ness' idea to charge for certain police and fire services was intended to net a cash-strapped city about $100,000 annually. But on Wednesday Ness pulled it from the Council agenda.

Sami camp offers glimpse of authentic Finnish culture

A traditional Sami camp complete with reindeer has been erected outside of the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center as part of FinnFest, offering a glimpse into what life is like for indigenous cultures living within the Arctic Circle.

Current YWCA tenants forced to move, but will get help

The American Indian Community Housing Organization, which purchased the building, will offer relocation help to those forced to move out of the building.
