Nicholas Kent Aeverman, 20,is charged with 16 counts of first-degree sexual conduct for the alleged repeated sexual abuse of three children.

Duluth mayor pulls proposal to charge for police and fire calls

Mayor Don Ness' idea to charge for certain police and fire services was intended to net a cash-strapped city about $100,000 annually. But on Wednesday Ness pulled it from the Council agenda.

Saving the memories of 1948 Duluth Dukes baseball

Six members of the 1948 Duluth Dukes baseball team still were alive when the team commemorated the 50th anniversary of the bus crash that claimed six lives on July 24, 1948.

Current YWCA tenants forced to move, but will get help

The American Indian Community Housing Organization, which purchased the building, will offer relocation help to those forced to move out of the building.
